HELLO...Welcome to Jeff's Corner!

My name is Jeff Lucyk and if by chance you haven't met me yet, I'm Shari's husband.

If there's a light bulb out or snow on the sidewalk at the salon, I'm the guy that gets the call - I don't do hair or nails but a few of you were greeted by me last December -I was emergency-trained to cover the front desk - I filled in when the receptionist was sick the Saturday before Christmas - I had no idea the amount of multi-tasking that goes on in a salon!

When Shari started working on www.variations-salon.com, I asked if I could have a page on the site.  She wanted to know what I would put on it and I told her... "STUFF."

I've always been interested in the vast network of a salon and have wanted a way to share information, or advertise through it...

"Information? Advertise what?" she asked.

 Oh you know...

...That I'm still looking for those Jarts! Someone has them in the back of their garage.

Currently I am interested in leasing hunting land.

...I'd let people know that in addition to my day job, I'm available for sides jobs - such as - "I Clean Out What You Don't Want To"  (Garages, Basements and Attics - Cleaning and Organizing)and...

...Selling other people's stuff - boats, cars, guns, etc. - when they don't want to do the leg work - Craig's List is my second best friend - I'll also drive or tow any type of vehicle to any location needed -

... I can search for and find most anything - information, people, or any type of obscure item.

Welcome to Jeff's Corner -

I look forward to hearing from you!

Did you know?

Who has more hair follicles - a mouse, a horse or a human?

The answer is they all have about the same number of follicles. Althought people generally think of humans as only having hair on the scalp and some on the body, almost all our skin is covered in hair follicles with the exception of the palms and soles.  We have little follicles, called vellus hair follicles, over our face and our bodies, that only produce tiny, non-pigmented hair fibers.  Because they ar not so easy to see, we tend to forget about them, but they are still hair....

Did you know?

The hair shaft carries a historical record of everything that has happened to it during its life span. As a hair grows, the accumulated effects of drying, coloring, lifting and so forth are recorded in its structure.  The evidence can actually be read under a microscope.
